Tail Light Bulb: Service and Repair

Replacing Light Bulb(s) For Left Or Right Tail Light


NOTE:
The following procedure is also applicable for the right hand tail lights.
Removal of the right hand bulb cluster with CD auto changer and amplifier fitted may be easier to perform by removing the tail light assembly.







Open Tailgate.
Release clips securing tail light access panel (1) and remove panel (2).







Release clip securing tail light bulb panel and manoeuvre from aperture into luggage compartment (1).
Remove the required bulb (see table below).
A Fog light bulb
B Direction indicator bulb
C Position/Brake light bulb

Install hint:
Do not touch glass part of bulb with bare fingers. Only touch bulb on its base or with a clean cloth or packaging of light bulb.

Install hint:
When refitting bulb holder, refer to right hand side of illustration for correct orientation.
