Replacing Front Left Or Right Brake HosesNote:

Apply pedal prop and depress brake pedal slightly. This prevents brake fluid from escaping from the expansion tank after brake pipes have been disconnected (which would enable air to enter the braking system).
Disconnect brake hose from pipe.
Brace brake hose on hexagon head (1) to ensure hose cannot rotate in retaining bracket.
Tightening torque:
- Front brake pipe to hose connection 14 Nm
Release hose from bracket on damper assembly.
Remove banjo bolt (2).
Remove brake hose from caliper (1).
Tightening torque:
- Brake hose to calliper M10 x 1.5 Banjo bolt 40 Nm
Install Hint:
First tighten brake hose to caliper.
Fit to damper assembly.
Install Hint:
Mount and tighten brake hose on brake caliper first, then on brake line/brake hose point of connection.
Never twist brake hose when installing it.
Ensure hose does not contact body.
