Door Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

51 21 140 Removing And Installing/Replacing Complete Lock Cylinder In Left Or Right Front Door

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove outside handle on front door







If necessary, remove rubber plug (1) and release screw (2).

3AZ Door lock cylinder to front door 6 Nm







Release screws (1).

4AZ Door lock to front door 6 Nm












Position door lock (1) downwards a little.
Feed out lock cylinder (2) in area (A) and remove.

Installation: Paddle (3) must be correctly inserted in door lock(1).
