51 43 251 Removing And Installing/Replacing Trim For Rear Left Or Right Roof Pillar (C-pillar)

Warning:
- Vehicles with head airbags:
- Read and comply with safety regulations for working on vehicles with airbag systems.

Important: Do not use any sharp-edged tools to remove the trim (risk of damage to head airbag).

Remove rear trim.







Remove screw securing seat belt anchor plate.
Tightening torque 36 Nm








Unclip and remove C-pillar trim.

Installation: Make sure rear lid seal is correctly seated.

Vehicles with head airbags:
Cut through retaining bar and remove trim.
Remove clips from body.
Dispose of trim and clips.







Feed out strap (1) and remove trim (2).
