24 00 049 - Installing replacement transmission (CVT)





Important!
Before installing replacement transmission:
- Always flush fluid cooler with lines.
After completing work:
- Carry out fluid adjustment Service and Repair.
Use only the approved transmission fluid.
- Reset adaptation values.
- Perform clutch and gear ratio adaptation.

Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!





Recycling:
Catch and dispose of escaping transmission fluid.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Drain gear oil Service and Repair at oil drain plug.
Tightening torque 24 11 1AZ [1][2]Fluid Pan, CVT.
- Remove automatic transmission 24 00 028 Removing and Installing Transmission (CVT).





Convert following parts from previous transmission to new transmission.
- Retaining clips for wiring harness.
