Removing and Installing/Replacing Navigation Computer With CD-Drive

65 90 510 - Removing and installing/replacing navigation computer with CD-drive





Special tools required:
- 65 5 400 Tools and Equipment





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove left front seat Removing and Installing Left or Right Front Seat (Normal/Manual)





Unfasten screws (1 and 2).
Feed cover (3) in direction of arrow out of carpet floor and air duct (5).

Installation:
Feed in tab (4) below air duct (5).





Open flap (1).
Release screws (2) and fold cover (3) back in direction of arrow.





Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
Remove navigation computer (2) complete with cover (5).
Unscrew nuts (3).
Remove navigation computer (2) with holder (4) from cover (5).





Installation:
Make sure cable grommet (1) is correctly seated in tray (2).





Replacement:
Unlock navigation computer (1) with special tool 65 5 400 Tools and Equipment and pull out of holder (2).





Replacement:
Carry out programming/coding Programming and Relearning.
