Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair

61 71 061 - Replacing fluid reservoir for windscreen washer system





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front right auxiliary turn indicator light Removing and Installing/Replacing Front Left or Right Auxiliary Direction Indicator
- Remove front right wheel arch trim Service and Repair
- Remove windscreen washer pump Service and Repair





Release screw (1), tightening torque 61 61 3AZ [1][2]Specifications.





Release screw and nut (1), tightening torque 61 61 3AZ [1][2]Specifications.
Pull underside of fluid reservoir for windscreen washer system forwards in direction of arrow.
Detach hoses/lines (2) from clips from fluid reservoir for windscreen washer system.
Release wiring harness clip (3).
Remove fluid reservoir for windscreen washer system.

Installation:
Make sure hoses/lines (2) are laid without kinks.
