CVT Input Shaft Radial Oil Seal Leaking

MODEL
R50 Cooper and R52 Cooper Convertible Equipped with CVT Transmission

SITUATION
Replacement of CVT transmissions are no longer necessary when the input shaft seal is leaking transmission fluid. Special tools and repair instructions are now available to replace the transmission input shaft radial oil seal.

PROCEDURE

Replace the CVT Transmission input shafi radial oil seal as outlined in repair instruction 24 21 510.
