Subject
Headlamps no longer match after one headlamp is replaced

Complaint
The customer has complained that the reflector in his replacement headlamp does not match the factory installed reflector in the second headlamp.

Cause
A different material for the reflector had to be used temporarily (titanium instead of aluminum) due to production problems at the headlamp supplier. As a result, there is a minor difference in the appearance of the original headlamps when compared with the replacement headlamps.

Vehicles concerned: R52 Cooper/CooperS Cabrio produced March 10, 2004 to May 16, 2004

Measure
In the event of a customer complaint, also replace the second headlamp.
