Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

11 62 000 - Removing and installing, sealing/replacing exhaust manifold

Detach exhaust system from manifold.





Disconnect both oxygen sensor connectors.





Undo retaining screws (1) for heat shield.
Tightening torque 11 62 1AZ [1][2]11 62 Exhaust Manifold.





Undo retaining screws (1) for heat shield.
Detach heat shield (2).
Note: Routing of wiring harness.





Unscrew 8 retaining screws (1) at exhaust manifold.
Remove exhaust manifold.

Installation note:
Make sure that the mating surfaces of cylinder head and manifold are clean.
Fit new gasket.
Tightening torque 11 62 2AZ [1][2]11 62 Exhaust Manifold.
