Convertible Top Diagnostic Charts

MODEL
R52 (Cooper Convertible and Cooper S Convertible)

SITUATION
The MINI Convertible Top with its sunroof function is a very complex system.

The following Diagnostic Charts have been developed to assist technicians in repairing various convertible top issues:

^ Visual Appearance

^ Noises

^ Function

^ Water Ingress

[NEW] These charts, which were previously available as attachments, have been added to the symptom diagnosis section of the DISPlus/GT1.

[NEW] The information available via symptom diagnosis will be updated as new information becomes available.

[NEW] INFORMATION
Various corrective actions and recommended repairs can be found in the symptom diagnosis section by connecting the vehicle to the DISPlus or GT1 by taking the following path:

Select the page right arrow on the Vehicle Identification screen/Fault Symptom Selection/Locking Systems/Select the appropriate fault symptom.

The diagnostic charts will no longer be available due to the fact that information available via Symptom Diagnosis is more up-to-date.
