Removing and Installing Front Bow

54 34 365 - Removing and installing front bow





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Partially remove convertible top fabric Service and Repair





Mark screws (1).
Release left and right screws (1).
Remove front bow (2).

Installation:
Align front bow centrally and align to cowl panel seal with convertible top closed.
Insert screws with Loctite.
Tightening torque 54 34 8AZ 54 34 Motor-Driven Convertible Top (Electrical Components).





Adjusting front blow:
Mark all screws.
Slacken screws.
Tightening torque 54 34 8AZ 54 34 Motor-Driven Convertible Top (Electrical Components).
Align front bow centrally and align to cowl panel seal with convertible top closed.

Installation:
Check for leaks. If necessary, repeat work steps.
