Headlamp Washer Pump: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing/Replacing Washer Pump Of Headlight Cleaning System


NOTE:
Drain fluid tank for headlight cleaning system.
Remove left front wheelarch cover.







Release pipe (1) from washer fluid tank clip.
Release washer pump clip (2) from fluid tank.

Install hint:
Transfer clip (2) to new pump.

Disconnect connector (3) from pump.
Remove pump from fluid tank by levering in direction shown.







Disconnect pipe from pump by pressing clip in direction shown.
Remove pump.

Install hint:
Replace sealing ring/strainer of washer pump.
Coat sealing ring of washer pump with antiseize agent.
Ensure hose is laid without kinks.
Fill fluid tank for headlight cleaning system.
