Replacing 1 Rubber Mt. Front Trailing Arm W/O Chassis Alignment


Replacing One Rubber Mount On Front Trailing Arm (Without Chassis Alignment Check)

Caution: After installation, carry out wheel alignment check.

Remove road wheel.

Remove caliper bolts, hook up to body to relieve tension on brake hose.
Brake calliper to trailing arm
M10 65 Nm

Remove ABS sensor from trailing arm.
ABS sensor to trailing arm
Allen headed bolt 8 Nm

Release nut holding stabilizer link to trailing arm if fitted.
Rear anti-roll bar link to anti-roll bar
M10 x 1.5 nut 56 Nm
Note: Use once only.

Support trailing arm.





Remove upper and lower lateral links from trailing arm (1).
Lateral link to trailing arm
M12 x 1.5 64 bolt 100 Nm





Release bolt holding shock absorber to trailing arm.
Rear arm damper to trailing arm
M14 x 1.5 140 Nm





Mark position of compliance bush housing to body. Release 3 bolts holding compliance bush housing to body.

Remove trailing arm.

M12 1.5 66 bolt 100 Nm





Before changing compliance housing and bush, mark position of compliance housing and bush to trailing arm.

Release bolt holding bush to trailing arm.
Compliance bush to trailing arm
M14 x 1.5 x 100 bolt 165 Nm

Refer to Adjusting rear axle (with KDS).
