Removing and Installing/Replacing Contact Ring (Airbag)

Removing And Installing/Replacing Contact Ring (Airbag)
Remove steering wheel.


Remove upper section of steering column trim.


Remove lower section of steering column trim.


Caution: Ensure contact ring is always secured with tape to prevent rotation.





Disconnect connectors.

Remove screws (1).

Release clips (2) of contact ring and remove it.
