CVT transmission output shaft speed sensor

Function
The engine control module receives a digital signal from this Hall sensor. This sensor measures the rotation speed of the transmission output shaft. The signal is used to calculate the gear ratio of the CVT transmission. The sensor wheel has 81 teeth which enable very precise engine speed calculations.

Installation location
The sensor is mounted to the CVT transmission.

Installation notes
When replacing the sensor, observe the guidelines in the repair instructions!
