Replacing Right Engine Mount

22 11 001 - Replacing right engine mount





Special tools required:
- 11 8 380 11 8 380 Pin wrench





Note:
Application after 03.2002

Release bolt (1) on engine mount.

Tightening torque, 22 11 6AZ Specifications.

Installation:
Replace screw.





Important!
Support engine with trolley jack on oil sump.

Risk of damage:

Place suitable material on trolley jack to protect oil sump against damage.





- Remove right engine support bracket Replacing Right Engine Mounting Bracket (From 12/03).





Note:
from 12.2003

Release bolt (1) and remove engine mount (2).

Tightening torque, 22 11 6AZ Specifications.





Note:
Application before 03.2002

Remove engine mount with special tool 11 8 380 11 8 380 Pin wrench.

Installation:
- Replace screw on engine mount.
Tightening torque, 22 11 6AZ Specifications.
- On bodies with M12 threads in the bushing for the engine mount, drill out the top hole to 14 mm diameter and 20 mm deep and surface-grind the contact surface for the bolt head at the bottom. Then paint the bare surfaces with primer.
