Repair instructions for the rippled convertible cover

Complaint

The convertible cover is heavily rippled in the front area (front bow strut). See Fig. 1.

Cause

Bonding in the convertible cover was not performed as well as it should be.

Repair instruction

Replace the convertible cover in line with repair instructions RA5434120.

Please note

The convertible covers can be distinguished by their so-called build dates. The build dates are indicated by the consecutive letters at the end of the part number of the manufacturer.
On replacement of the convertible cover, make sure that the new convertible cover is marked with T or higher. See Fig. 2 and Fig. 3.
If this repair does not lead to the desired result, please contact the subsidiary or importer responsible.
