11 28 050 Removing A/C Compressor Drive Belt

Special Tools Required:
- 11 8 280
- 11 8 390

Note: If the drive belt is to be reused, mark direction of travel and reinstall drive belt in same direction of rotation.





Remove tank venting valve.
Relieve tension on belt with special tool 11 8 390 and lock belt tension with special tool 11 8 280
Remove underpan.
Remove drive belt.

Installation
Check drive belt for coolant and oil residue, replace if necessary.

Caution!
High forces are effective on the drive belt clamping fixture; make sure the locking pin is completely inserted
If the drive belt has come into contact with hydraulic fluid it must be replaced without fail.
