Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair

Replacing Fuel Pressure Regulator

Turn off ignition.
Check function of EMS2000.
Check fuel pump supply pressure.
Remove fuel injector rail.





Remove pressure regulator retaining clip (1).
Rotate pressure regulator (2) and remove.

NOTE: When the pressure regulator has been removed check the regulator filter is not retained within the housing.






Install hint: Replace pressure regulator sealing rings (1) and (2).
Check filter (3) is installed.
Lightly lubricate sealing rings to assist with installation.
