SITUATION
Certain components in the MINI Alarm Installation kit P/N 82 11 0 300 295 are no longer valid for vehicles produced as of 9/03. The Alarm Siren and Tilt Sensor have been integrated into one component and will be located in the same area as the Alarm Siren for earlier production vehicles, which also results in a new mounting bracket for the siren as well as a new 6 pin connector on the wiring harness.
[NEW] The components required to complete the new MINI Alarm Installation Kit P/N 82 11 0 306 852 are available. Installation instructions may not be included in the kit and as a result are provided as an attachment to this bulletin.
