Replacing Right Hand Driveshaft Seal (ECVT)
Special tools required:
^ 00 5 500
^ 24 8 110

Drain gearbox oil.

Remove right hand driveshaft.





Use a screwdriver to lever out radial seal (1) from transmission housing.

Note: Care should be taken not to damage the transmission casing.





Install hint:
Using special tool 00 5 500 and special tool 24 8 110 fit seal into casing until the outer seal ring is flush with the transmission casing.


Install hint:
Push output shaft over resistance of snap ring. Output shaft must snap audibly into place.

Refill transmission with oil and check for leaks.
