Removing And Installing / Replacing Left Or Right Brake Caliper
Replacing brake caliper
Note: After completing this operation, bleed the brake system.
Remove road wheels.
Lift out retaining spring (1).
Remove plastic plugs (2).
Slacken self-locking nut on Bowden cable until handbrake cable tension is released.
Remove handbrake cable (1) from rear brake caliper.
Remove banjo bolt (2) and release brake hose from caliper (3).
Brake hose to brake calliper
Banjo Bolt
M12 x 1.0 40 - 50 Nm
Unfasten guide screws (2) and pull brake caliper backwards to remove.
Install hint:
For correct adjustment of the handbrake.
