Throttle Body: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing/Sealing Throttle Assembly

Turn off ignition.





Disconnect both hose clips (1) from inlet pipe between throttle body and air cleaner.
Remove hose clips and pipe (2).





Disconnect connector (1).
Remove screws (2).
Remove throttle assembly (3).
Tightening torque 9 Nm





Install hint:
Replace sealing ring (1) between throttle assembly and intake manifold.

NOTE:
A faulty throttle adjusts the adaptation values stored in the EMS2000 control unit. These adaptation values must be reset after the throttle assembly has been replaced.
