Brake Disc





Removal

1. Remove the wheel and tire.

2. NOTICE: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang from the brake flexible hose or damage to the hose may occur.

Remove and discard the 2 anchor plate bolts and position the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly aside.

3. Remove and discard the brake disc screw.

4. NOTE: If the brake disc cannot be removed easily, apply penetrating and lock lubricant on the brake disc-to-hub mating surfaces.

Remove the brake disc.

Installation

1. Clean any rust or foreign material from the brake disc and wheel hub.
- Use the specified brake parts cleaner to clean the front brake disc and hub surfaces.

2. Apply a thin coat of anti-seize lubricant to the hub flange.

3. Install the brake disc.

4. Install a new brake disc screw.
- Tighten to 21 Nm (15 lb-ft).

5. Position the brake caliper and brake caliper anchor plate assembly and install 2 new bolts.
- Tighten to 150 Nm (111 lb-ft).

6. Install the wheel and tire.
