Hood Latch Release Handle

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to Hood Latch Hood Latch.

2. Remove the 4 radiator grille opening panel pin-type retainers.

3. Remove the 2 bolts and the radiator grille opening panel.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

4. Release the hood latch release cable routing clips.

5. Remove the steering column cover.

6. Remove the hood latch release handle bolt.

7. Release the hood latch release cable grommet from the dash panel.

8. Remove the hood latch release handle and cable assembly.

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
