Removal
1. Remove the wheel and tire.
2. CAUTION: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang from the brake flexible hose or damage to hose may occur.
Remove and discard the 2 bolts and position the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly aside.
3. Remove and discard the brake disc screw.
4. NOTE: If the brake disc cannot be removed easily, apply Penetrating and Lock Lubricant on the brake disc-to-hub mating surfaces.
Remove the brake disc.
Installation
1. Clean any rust or foreign material from brake disc and wheel hub.
^ Use brake parts cleaner to clean the front brake disc and hub surfaces.
2. Apply a thin coat of anti-seize lubricant to the hub flange.
3. Install the brake disc.
4. Install a new brake disc screw.
^ Tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
5. Position the brake caliper and brake caliper anchor plate assembly and install 2 new bolts.
^ Tighten to 150 Nm (111 lb-ft).
