RadiatorRemoval and Installation
1. WARNING: Before servicing a vehicle equipped with a fire suppression system, depower the system by following the procedure in Fire Suppression System. Failure to follow the instructions may result in serious personal injury.
Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud assembly.
2. Remove the pin-type retainers and remove the radiator sight shield.
3. Disconnect the lower radiator hose and position aside.
4. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 radiator support brackets.
^ To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
5. Remove the bolt, position the A/C condenser and the power steering cooler away from the radiator, and remove the radiator.
^ To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
6. WARNING: If the vehicle is equipped with a fire suppression system, repower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to Fire Suppression System. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.
NOTE: Do not reuse hose clamps. Instead, use appropriately sized worm-style clamps in place of the constant tension clamps.
To install, reverse the removal procedure. If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system.
7. Fill and bleed the cooling system.
