Test E: The Heated Exterior Mirror Is Inoperative

PINPOINT TEST E: THE HEATED EXTERIOR MIRROR IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
With the engine running and the rear window defrost system ON, the heated exterior mirrors receive voltage from the rear window defrost relay through circuit 186 (BN/LB) through the battery junction box (BJB) and circuit 59 (DG/VT). The heated exterior mirrors are grounded through circuit 57 (BK).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Heated exterior mirror glass
- Heated exterior mirrors
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
