Test P: The LH/RH Turn Indicator Is Never On

PINPOINT TEST P: THE LH/RH TURN INDICATOR IS NEVER ON

Normal Operation
When the multifunction switch is in the LH TURN position, on/off voltage is sent from the multifunction switch to the instrument cluster (IC) through circuit 3 (LG/WH), and the left turn signal indicator flashes on and off. When the multifunction switch is in the RH TURN position, on/off voltage is sent from the multifunction switch to the instrument cluster (IC) through circuit 2 (WH/LB), and the left turn signal indicator flashes on and off.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- LH turn signal lamps
- Instrument cluster (IC)
