Test O: One Turn Signal Lamp Is Always On
PINPOINT TEST O: ONE TURN SIGNAL LAMP IS ALWAYS ONO1-O2:
Normal Operation - Five Hundred and Freestyle
When the smart junction box (SJB) detects a request for the RH or LH turn signals, the SJB provides voltage through circuit 1342 (GY/BK) or circuit 1341 (DB/OG) to the LH and RH front turn lamps, respectively. The rear stoplamps and circuitry are used for the rear turn lamps.
Normal Operation - Montego
When the smart junction box (SJB) detects a request for the RH or LH turn signals, the SJB provides voltage through circuit 1342 (GY/BK) or circuit 1341 (DB/OG) to the LH and RH front turn lamps, respectively. The SJB also provides voltage through circuit 1363 (WH/RD) or circuit 1365 (GY/LB) to the LH and RH rear turn lamps, respectively. The turn lamps are provided ground through circuit 1205 (BK).
Possible Causes
- Circuit 1341 (DB/OG) short to voltage
- Circuit 1342 (GY/BK) short to voltage
- Circuit 1363 (WH/RD) short to voltage
- Circuit 1365 (GY/LB) short to voltage
- SJB
