Normal Operation
The washer fluid level switch is hardwired to the smart junction box (SJB) through circuit 81 (RD/LG) and grounded through circuit 1205 (BK). The SJB monitors the washer fluid level and sends the washer fluid level data to the instrument cluster over the communication network.

DTC B1482 - sets when the SJB detects a short to ground from the low washer fluid level input circuit. This DTC can only set when running the on-demand self-test.

Possible Causes
- Circuit 81 (RD/LG) open or short to ground
- Circuit 1205 (BK) open
- Washer fluid level switch
- SJB
- Instrument cluster
