Test A: The Ignition Switch Is Inoperative

Refer to Vehicle/Diagrams, Power Distribution/SJB for schematic and connector information.

Normal Operation
Fused battery voltage is supplied to the ignition switch from battery junction box (BJB) fuse 33 (30A) along circuit 1715 (RD). The ignition switch has 4 possible states:
^ OFF
^ ACC
^ RUN
^ START

Possible Causes
^ Fuse
^ Circuit open
^ Circuit shorted
^ Ignition switch
^ BJB
