Normal Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) sends a pulse-width modulated (PWM) voltage to the dimmable components, based on input received from the instrument panel dimmer switch, through circuits 1417 (LG/RD) and 1418 (LB/WH). Ground for the illumination source is supplied through circuit 1205 (BK).

DTC B2026 - sets when a short to ground is detected on circuit 1418 (LB/WH).

DTC B2027 - sets when a short to ground is detected on circuit 1417 (LG/RD).

Possible Causes
- Circuit 1205 (BK) open
- Circuit 1417 (LG/RD) open or short to ground
- Circuit 1418 (LB/WH) open or short to ground
- Adjustable pedals switch
- Center stack (contains the hazard, traction control, and parking aid switches)
- Analog clock
- Decklid release switch
- Headlamp switch
- Manual climate control assembly
- Shifter assembly
- SJB
