Keyless Entry Key-Pad: Testing and Inspection

KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD CODE PROGRAMMING

NOTE:
- The system allows 3 personal codes to be programmed.
- Any existing personal code does not need to be erased to program a new code.

1. Enter the permanent factory keyless entry keypad code.
2. Press the 1/2 button within 5 seconds to activate the programming mode. Pressing and holding the 1/2 button again for more than 2 seconds after activation erases the stored personal codes.
3. Enter the new 5-digit keyless entry keypad code. Each number must be entered within 5 seconds of each other. The door locks will lock and unlock to confirm the new code is programmed.
4. To associate the entry code with a new memory setting, enter a sixth digit to indicate which driver should be set in a memory recalled by the personal entry code:

- NOTE: The factory-set code cannot be associated with a memory setting.

Pressing 1/2 recalls Driver 1 settings.

- Pressing 3/4 recalls Driver 2 settings.
- Pressing other keypad buttons or not pressing a keypad button as a sixth digit does not set a driver and will not recall a memory setting.

5. The doors will then lock and unlock again to confirm that your personal keycode has been programmed into the module.
