Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the rear window wiper motor (Freestyle only) receives power through circuit 406 (BN/WH) and is grounded through circuit 1205 (BK). The rear window wiper motor receives open and ground inputs from the wiper switch through circuits 485 (PK/BK) and 488 (DG) to activate the rear window wiper to 1 of the 2 available intermittent speeds.
Possible Causes
- Short to ground in circuits 406 (BN/WH), 485 (PK/BK), 488 (DG) or 1205 (BK)
- Inoperative wiper switch
- Inoperative rear window wiper motor
