Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the 2 bolts and electrical connector. Position the degas bottle aside.
^ Tighten to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).
2. Disconnect these 4 electrical connectors:
^ Camshaft position sensor (CMP)
^ Heated oxygen sensor (H02S)
^ A/C pressure switch
^ Cooling fan
3. Release the 3 nuts and position aside the engine wiring harness.
^ To install, tighten to 9 Nm (62 inch lbs.).
4. Remove the engine accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories.
5. Using the special tool, remove the power steering pump pulley.
6. To install reverse the removal procedure.
7. NOTE: If the pulley hub has no marks or one mark, mark the pulley hub with paint before installing it. If the pulley hub has 2 marks, install a new pulley.
Using the special tool, install the power steering pump pulley.
