Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the accessory drive belt.
3. Disconnect the A/C compressor electrical connector and wiring harness retainer.
4. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and position the A/C compressor aside.
^ To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
5. Remove the 6 bolts and position the A/C compressor bracket aside.
^ To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
6. Disconnect the oil pressure sender electrical connector.
7. Remove the oil pressure sender.
^ To install, tighten to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.).
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Apply pipe sealant with Teflon to the oil pressure sender threads.
