Engine Support Insulators - LH

Special Tool(s):

Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the 3 bolts and the LH exhaust manifold heat shield.
^ To install, tighten to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.).

3. Remove the engine support insulator lower nut.
^ To install, tighten to 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.).

4. Remove the engine support insulator upper nut.
^ To install, tighten to 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.).





5. Mount the special tool to the LH cylinder head.





6. Using the special tools, raise the engine to gain the clearance necessary to remove the insulator.

7. CAUTION: Make sure that the engine support insulator locator pins are aligned correctly with the bracket.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
