Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the 2 fuel vapor tube-to-EVAP canister purge valve quick connect couplings.







4. Depress the retaining tab to release and remove the purge valve from the retaining bracket.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Leak test the system.
