Normal Operation
The auto dimming mirror receives voltage from the central junction box (CJB) through circuit 964 (DB/LG) and is grounded through circuit 57 (BK). When the transmission is in REVERSE, the digital transmission range (TR) sensor sends a voltage signal through circuit 140 (BK/PK) to the auto dimming mirror, which turns the dimming feature off.
Possible Causes
- fuse
- circuit 57 (BK) open
- circuit 140 (BK/PK) open
- circuit 964 (DB/LG) open
- auto-dimming mirror
