Normal Operation
The air suspension warning indicator flashes and then stays on with the ignition switch in the RUN position and the air suspension service switch turned off or when a system malfunction is detected. The instrument cluster is hardwired to the air suspension module through circuit 419 (DG/LG). If a fault occurs in the air suspension system, a diagnostic trouble code(s) are set and the air suspension module grounds circuit 419 (DG/LG) to illuminate the air suspension indicator.
Possible Causes
- circuit 419 (DG/LG) open, short to ground, or short to voltage
- air suspension system
- air suspension module
- instrument cluster
