Low - intermediate One - Way Clutch

Disassembly





1. Remove the low-intermediate one-way clutch assembly.





2. Remove the low-intermediate one-way clutch roller and cage. Rotate clockwise to unlock.

Assembly

1. NOTE: Before installing, clean and inspect the low - intermediate one - way clutch rollers and cage for cracks, burning, or scoring. Install new if necessary.





Install the low - intermediate one - way clutch roller and cage. Rotate counterclockwise to lock in place.





2. Clean and inspect the rear sun gear assembly.
1 Inspect the bushing.
2 Inspect the inner race.
3 Inspect the bearing.

3. NOTE: The outer splined race should rotate counterclockwise and hold clockwise.





Install the low-intermediate one-way clutch outer race.
