Removal

CAUTION: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of the power steering components can result.





1. Refer to the appropriate System View illustration in Description and Operation for hose routing and retention points.

Installation

1. NOTE: Whenever a hose fitting with a seal is disconnected, a new Teflon seal must be installed.

Using the special tool, install a new Teflon seal on the hose fitting.
2. Refer to the appropriate System View illustration in Description and Operation for hose routing and retention points. Refer to Specifications for fastener torque specifications.
3. Fill and leak check the power steering system.
