Initial Inspection - Instrument Cluster and Panel Illumination

INSPECTION AND VERIFICATION

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the headlamp switch in the PARK position and the panel dimmer switch in the fully illuminated position to duplicate the condition.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of electrical damage.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Electrical
- Smart junction box (SJB) fuse 35 (10A)
- Wiring harness
- Headlamp switch
- Bulb(s)

3. If the fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and GO to Symptom Chart. Diagnosis By Symptom - Instrument Cluster and Panel Illumination
