Removal and Installation
1. CAUTION: Due to the fragile make-up of the front door glass top run, removal is recommended only if the top run is damaged. Unnecessary removal may damage the light-gauge steel carrier insert within the rubber seal of the front door glass top run.
Remove the front door window glass.
2. Remove the exterior rear view mirror.
3. Remove the front door window glass top run rivets.
4. Remove the front door window glass top run bolts.
5. CAUTION: Handle the front door glass top run by the center section only. The A- and B-pillar corners must not be damaged.
NOTE: Nylon pins are used to retain the front door window glass top run to the B-pillar.
Remove the front door window glass top run.
6. NOTE: Use the special tool to install the rivets.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
