PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION

With the key in RUN and the fog lamp switch engaged (integral to the headlamp switch), a signal is sent to the smart junction box (SJB). The SJB then provides a ground for the fog lamp relay to energize the coil. When the fog lamp relay coil is energized, voltage is routed to the fog lamps.
