Engine Support Insulators - RH

Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the cowl vent screen.
3. Remove the RH catalytic converter.
4. Remove the RH halfshaft.
5. Remove the 3 bolts and the RH exhaust manifold heat shield.
^ To install, tighten to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.).
6. Remove the engine support insulator lower nut.
^ To install, tighten to 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.).
7. Remove the engine support insulator upper nut.
^ To install, tighten to 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.).
8. Remove the bolt and detach the power steering pressure (PSP) tube from the RH cylinder head.
^ To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).





9. Mount the special tool to the RH cylinder head.





10. Using the special tools, raise the engine to gain the clearance necessary to remove the insulator.
^ Remove the engine support insulator.

11. CAUTION: Make sure that the engine support insulator locator pin is aligned correctly with the bracket.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
