Test H: The Smart Lock Does Not Operate Correctly
PINPOINT TEST H: THE SMART LOCK DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLYH1-H3:
Normal Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) receives voltage for the power locks on circuit 906 (RD/OG). The door lock actuators are powered through the SJB through fuse 3 (25A). The SJB will energize the lock relay. The SJB energizes circuit 1763 (PK/BK) to lock all the doors and the liftgate (wagon). The SJB prohibits the LH front door from remaining locked if it receives a signal that the key is in the ignition switch and a lock request is received when the LH front door is ajar.
Possible Causes
- key-in-ignition switch
- LH front door ajar switch
- circuitry
- SJB
