ISSUE
Some 2005 Five Hundred/Montego vehicles may exhibit a trunk lid that is hard to close.

ACTION
Trim the appearance seal from around the latch.





Open the trunk lid, cut and remove approximately 3 inches (75 mm) as outlined in Figure 1.
